Most people know what they ’should’ be doing. But they’re just not doing it.
A ton of people will look at this and think ‘’Oh I could just go to the gym for £14 quid a month’’, ‘’I could do this myself...’'
But they WON'T. It’s just a story they keep repeating to make themselves feel better time and time again.
They don’t have a real strategy, or structured plan for what to do, when to do it and what to do when things don’t work out...
Most don’t have access to a world class coach with resources, trainings, and support with added accountability to not just get started but more importantly KEEP GOING!
It’s HARD to commit fully, I totally get it.
Most don’t have any form of serious accountability with someone saying ‘’Hey why didn’t you turn up for training?’’ or ‘’Have you done this yet?’'
They’re not surrounding themselves with people who hold themselves and those around them to a higher standard who want to encourage them and help them lead a better path.
And that’s ok.
That’s their choice. And they’ll maybe say things like ‘’I’m different’’...
But the truth is? We’re not.
I used to think the same thing...
I was in a ’secure’ job as a plumber, had the holiday pay, sick pay benefits, house, Audi car, girlfriend. Had it MADE. Or so it seemed, only to be going on huge drink and drug benders on a weekend, wrecking havoc on my diet and mental focus for days, having a string of broken relationships, always saying one thing, DOING another, exhausted most days, just waiting for the next weekend, sick of my job, tired and miserable..
‘’What’s the point?’’ I’d say
‘’It’s all a load of shit this Self development stuff’'
Truth was, after the ending of a miserable existence, in a job I hated with weekend drug habits I found myself in a pharmacy in 2012 looking at what pills I could take for an overdose…
I couldn’t believe I had allowed myself to get that low.
Truth is, I’m a regular guy from South Shields, who USED to love ’sessions’ (drink and drug benders) on a weekend with no college or university degree...
There’s nothing special or unique about me.
And I’ve had a lot of similar experiences to most, I’ve just chosen to handle a lot of them differently .
